Good-sized and extremely pleasant units with a beautiful view and a big bed. Lovely location in a peaceful area close to another pub for a meal, the restaurant and The Old Rectory.

Marvellous and handy location, we did not want to leave.

The best part of our really lovely stay was the delicious and sensational breakfast with fresh fruit and homemade marmalade, as for instance. Liked the staff, they were attentive and efficient throughout of our stay.

The hotel boasts beautiful gardens, a cozy bar, and good decor. Our room was comfy and clean! We loved the charming atmosphere with antique furnishings.

The historical storytelling by the staff added a unique touch to our experience.

The shower curtain needed replacement due to mould build-up.

I loved the charming old-fashioned feel of this place and the beautiful gardens, made for lovely morning strolls. It was close to Shropshire Falconry, a great little adventure just a short walk away.

Had such a nice time! The room was super clean, and being able to open the windows was a huge plus. Breakfast was amazing-those kippers were the best! Plus, we enjoyed grabbing drinks in the lounge area before dinner. Just wish they had more dinner options. A fab stay!

The enchanting gardens were absolute bliss 🌸! The ambiance felt cozy and charming. the mattress was uncomfortably hard, making sleep elusive.

The good bar area is a cozy nook for winding down, and the breakfast spread is pure bliss with freshly cooked options that'll have your taste buds dancing. Don't miss the culinary prowess-Chef even whipped up a proper shepherd's pie just for us! What a treat!

My only niggles were that the wifi signal wasn't very good, which complicated my work setup. A deeper mattress would've been nicer too, as the wooden bed frame digs in a bit when sitting!

We had such a lovely stay! The staff were cute, and our spacious room was perfect for the whole family, including our two dogs. The breakfast was fantastic, with choices that really set us up for the day. We enjoyed the beautiful grounds and even ventured out to Alderford Lake, a great spot for a family outing.

My kids wished for a play area outside to keep them entertained. Some outdoor activities would have been a real bonus for families.

The hotel is centrally located, with a friendly pub nearby, and beautiful well-maintained gardens surrounding it. the dining room for breakfast was enjoyable.
